Good day,
In todays post I wanna show you how I did these winter mitten nails. Seeing how winter is coming, I think these nails match the season perfectly. To be honest, I absolutely LOVE the way they turned out. I have seen other people do nail art with these stencils and I am really happy that mine turned out this good too!
Apply a base coat like ‘Nail Repair’ by PRO-FX and then do two coats of ‘Bubble Bath’ by OPI or a similar polish. Make sure the polish is completely dry before going over it with a top coat. I always use the ‘Color Therapy’ one from Sally Hansen.
Next up, use mitten stencils of your choosing. Mine are from WhatsUp Nails and you can find them here.
Use a dark blue shade like ‘Dating a Royal’ by OPI or any dark blue shade you own. As soon as the whole nail is covered with the polish, remove the stencil immediately.
Now, if you’d like, you could just do one accent nail with the mitten design and leave the rest nude. I personally am so in love with how these look that I did all of them.
In the end, as always, go over your nails with a top coat. I am using the ‘Color Therapy’ one from Sally Hansen.
As always, I’d love to hear from you! If you have questions, requests for future design ideas or anything else on your heart, let me know.
Thank you so much for reading my winter mitten nails post and don’t forget to subscribe so you never miss a post of mine! I hope you have a wonderful week filled with lots of sunshine and happiness.
