Hi all,
Welcome to my green & white nails post. To be completely honest, these nails did not turn out the way I wanted them to. Not sure why, but in my mind they looked waaaaay better. If I look at these nails from far away, they actually look pretty good. Just don’t go to close 🙂 It you’d like to know who I did these green & white nails, just keep on reading.
To start, apply a base coat like the ‘Nail Repair’ one from PRO-FX. Then, go over all your nails with dark green polish like ‘Watermelon Rind’ by china glaze.
Next up, take a brush and some white acrylic paint and colour in a third of your nails. I decided to not make straight lines but instead have a slight curve. Start by applying a thin coat of the paint and building the colour up over time. Remember, it’s always easier to add more colour than to take it off.
Take some black acrylic paint and the same brush and to this on the other side of your nails. For some reason, the black was much easier to blend in with the green. Probably because they are both dark shades.
In the end, go over it with your favourite top coat to make the design last long and also to make it nice and shiny. I am using the ‘Color Therapy’ one from Sally Hansen.
Thank you so much for reading my green & white nails post and don’t forget to subscribe so you never miss a post of mine! I hope you have a wonderful week filled with lots of sunshine and confidence.
