Hey you!
Today will be my last Valentines themed post. I’m going to show you how I did these very simple and subtle pink heart Valentines Day nails. You don’t need a whole lot to create this design. All you really need is two different polish shades and something to create dots with. The polishes should preferably be pink but any other colour combo would work too.
Apply a base coat onto all of your nails to protect them and make the polish last longer. I am using the ‘Nail Repair’ one from PRO-FX. Then, go over it with your base colour polish. I am using the ‘Feelin’ Hot-Hot-Hot!’ polish by OPI. Use as many coats until you’re happy with the colour. I used two coats of my pink shade.
Make sure the base colour polish is completely dry before continuing with the design! Once they are completely dry, go over your ring finger nail with the other shade. I am using the colour ‘Princesses Rule!’ by OPI but again, any shade you have will do.
With the dotting tool and the other shade, create two connecting dots onto your middle finger and create a heart shape out of that. Unfortunately, I am not the best at explaining things, sorry. I will be uploading a video tutorial for this design to my YouTube channel so keep your eyes open for that. I will link the video here as soon as it’s uploaded.
Now for your pinkie, index finger and thumb, go ahead and take the dotting tool again. Go ahead and create dots all over your nails. You can make them as big or small as you’d like. You can also make as many or as little as you’d like.
As always, go over your nails with a top coat at the end to make sure the polish doesn’t chip as fast. I am using the ‘Color Therapy’ one from Sally Hansen.
Thank you so much for reading my pink heart Valentines Day nails post and don’t forget to subscribe so you never miss a post of mine! I hope you have a wonderful week filled with lots of sunshine and confidence.
