Hi my loves!
Did you start well into the new week? My day was okay, not the best but then, Mondays usually never are. I am here today to show you how I did these conversation heart nail art, are you ready?
The base colours are:
‘white on’ by Sally Hansen
‘Highlight of my Summer’ by china glaze
‘Birdy Reloaded!’ by catrice
‘Floaties’ from Sally Hansen
‘play date’ by essie
These colours are from left to right and the red I used for writing is ‘Red my Fortune Cookie’ by OPI. You can pick any colour you’d like, I decided to go with these five because they are the most similar to actual conversation heart candies.
There are different kinds of sayings that I put onto each nail. You can obviously pick which ever saying you’d like, they absolutely do not have to be all lovey dovey 🙂 They can be fun, sad or anti-valentine’s day, the possibilities are endless!
After you are all done with that, apply your favourite kind of top coat. Now, be sure to wait long enough so the polish is completely dry. As you can tell from the next photo, I did not wait long enough and the text got smeared. One of the things that frustrate me the most in doing my own nails is if I don’t wait long enough before I apply the top coat. The fact that you can destroy something in seconds that you just spend hours creating. With that in mind, be sure to wait until everything is really completely dry!
Thank you for reading my conversation heart nail art post and I hope you enjoyed it! If you have any questions, comments or requests, please feel free to leave them below.
