I’m back with some sideway french nails 🙂
I’m back and ready to keep the blogging up this time!!
But before I can do that I feel like an explanation is necessary. The last time I uploaded a post was almost 3 weeks ago. In that post I was telling you guys that I’m moving and I prewritten some posts so the blog won’t be neglected. And silly me not thinking about the fact that I had no internet in the new apartment to upload the posts wasn’t very smart.
Anyways, I had figured out how and when to upload which post as soon as we got internet. But then I was in a car accident almost two weeks ago and ever since then I haven’t really had the time or strength to upload anything.
I’m slowly starting to feel better and my passion for writing blog posts has been lit again 🙂 I decided not to upload the posts I had planed for last week because I feel like I did the right thing by taking a break from blogging!
I will however upload my “April Favourites” post because I really enjoy writing them. And I was thinking of making Friday my “get to know me a bit better” day. What do you guys think about that? Would you be interested?
As always, your opinion matters to me so please let me know in the comments 🙂
Okay enough chitchat, let’s get to the sideway french nails:
For this Mani I used my absolute favourite “pink” polish ever: ‘Passion Fruit’ from ORLY!! It’s not the usual girly pink colour and that’s probably why I like it sooooo much 🙂
I did two coats of ‘Passion Fruit’ and then I added a topcoat
The reason why I used a topcoat is because of the next step: I used self-adhesive reinforcements to tape off the nails in a half moon shape. The top coat prevents the tape to stick to the polish.
Next I used ‘Starry Silver Glitter’ by NYC, must be one of my new favourite glitter polishes! Right after I applied the polish I removed the tape so it won’t stick to the polish ones dried 🙂
I really like this look and also the fact that you can do this with literally any colour-combo you can think off!
I was inspired by a Mani sonailicious did a while back. Go have a look at her Instagram feed, she has so mani amazing design that I’m looking forward to try out 🙂
I hope you liked my sideway french nails and that you had a great Monday so far 🙂 Have a great week and be safe!
xoxo
Cindy
