Hi lovely readers š
It’s Wednesday and that means it’s time for another motivational quote! Todays post called ‘Quote for Week 32’ is all about trying to be perfect and how that might not be the best goal to have for your future.
Nowadays more and more people try to be perfect. But what does that even mean? What/Who is perfect? And who decides what perfect even is?
I feel like everybody has their own idea of what perfect is. My perfect dinner for example needs to include something made out of Ā a potato, meatĀ and ice cream. Now I’m pretty sure that this is not even close to your perfect dinner am I right? I mean, correct me if I’m wrong but ‘perfect’ can be so different for every single person!
And that’s exactely how it should be, everybody should be interested and like different things, that’s what makes life interesting!
And just because a person looks perfect in a magazine or on TV doesn’t mean that they actually are. The whole media world can be so deceiving and we really shouldn’t take that as our example to life our live.
I’m not implying that the people in a magazines or TV wanna tell you that they are perfect. Not at all! I’m simply saying that a lot of people (us, the ones that read the magazines or watch TV) feel like the superstars life must be perfect. Even though it might not be.
So if you still want to try to be perfect then go for it! But remember to use your own scale of perfection as a measuring tape!
I hope this helped maybe some of you and keep in mind to just be real and that will automatically make you the best person youĀ can be.
