Happy Monday 🙂
The weekend is already over and that means I have another mani to show you. Today’s post is called ‘mint and lilac nails’ from the WNAC for August.
I really enjoy this challenge because for some reason I always used the same nail polish colours. You can even say I was in kind of a rot. This challenge really helped me out and I’m full of new ideas 🙂
I used Sally Hansen ‘Mint Sorbet’ as a base for all fingers.
This technique for example, I have never tried out before. Don’t ask me why, because I couldn’t tell you… I just never did, until now.
The technique is very simple, make dots with two different colours and mix them together. You can use a toothpick, some foil or you can do what I did: use the chocolate wrapper from the chocolate I just ate 🙂 oh by the way, the lilac colour is essies ‘play date’
Then cleaning up around that nail is very important to make the nails look professional and clean. This photo is before the clean up:
Then I added a topcoat, as usual and that’s already it. Simple right? I dare you to give this one a try!
As always, I will leave my social media links right here: Instagram, Twitter & Pinterest
I hope you like my mint and lilac nails and have a lovely day and week 🙂
xoxo
Cindy
