Hello lovelies 🙂
Today I’m here with 10 Valentines Day Food Ideas! Doesn’t everybody love food? And you may not like Valentines Day or don’t believe in it, but that doesn’t mean you can enjoy it! As in eat lots and lots of yummy food 🙂
I personally love to eat, so any excuse there is to make something special or something extraordinary is fine by me! And by all means you do not need to have a husband/wife or girlfriend/boyfriend to celebrate it, that’s the good part. For me Valentines Day is more for appreciating the people you love and who love you! Obviously you should do that every day but it’s very easy to forget to do this on a daily basis. So I believe Valentines Day is a great day to remind us of this! Anyways, enough chit chat from me 🙂
Here is a list of my favourite 10 Valentines Day Food Ideas:
1) Chocolate covert strawberries – aka the classic!
2) Pizza – Specifically a pizza in a heart shape! Cool right? Well at least I think so 🙂
3) Dessert – Pretty much any kind of dessert can be made in a heart shape form! If you don’t have any heart shape forms you can always use some food colouring to make any batter red. Or heart shaped decorations, they can be either red or any other colour!
4) Ice Cream!! – This one doesn’t have to be in any shape or flavour, just your favourite one!! Or maybe even two 🙂
5) Ice Cubes – Why not cool down your drinks with some cute little heart shaped ice cubes? That’s not a huge thing but it’s something that is easy to do and doesn’t cost a thing! Almost nothing anyways 😉
6) Cocktails – Have a delicious cocktail or drink with your loved ones! Just to show you appreciate them being here for you.
7) Popcorn – Doesn’t everybody just LOVE Popcorn?
8) Pancakes – Isn’t Valentines Day an amazing excuse to eat some Pancakes? Hell yes it is!!
9) Chocolate fondue – A chocolate fondue can be eaten with pretty much any fruit such as: Bananas, Apples (especially sour ones), Pears, Tangerines, Oranges and so many more!
10) Healthy Food – If your not into the whole sweet food thing and would rather eat something health you can always cut some heart shaped pieces of fruit and vegetables! Make a light dip to go with it and voilà , you have a great alternative to all the sweet stuff 🙂
I wish you all a great weekend and a lot of quality time with
your loved ones! (Yes you can enjoy and appreciate them even if it isn’t Valentines Day yet). If you would like to make my day, go follow me on any of my social media (Twitter, Instagram or Pinterest)! And please let me know what you think of my 10 Valentines Day Food Ideas!
