Welcome to my mermaid nails post!
I had this design on my ‘to do’ list for a while now and finally got around to it! Without the use of the scale stencils from What’s Up Nails this would have been impossible to create. Keep on reading if you want to know how I did these:
The base colour is ‘watermelon rind’ from china glaze. It’s a beautiful green glittery colour with some blue and silver sparkles.
Every time you want to use any kind of tape, stencil or sticker on your nail you should always apply a top coat first. Let that dry completely before moving on and applying the tape.
The colour I used on top is called ‘turned up turquoise’ and is also by china glaze. I picked these two colours because they feel like a mermaid to me and the mach each other very well.
All that’s left to do now is to apply a top coat of your choosing and you are done!
Thank you so much for reading my mermaid nails post and I hope you enjoyed it. Come back soon for more nail related post and tell your friends! I will also upload a video tutorial of these mermaid nails to my YouTube channel so keep your eyes peeled for that!
Have a nice week you all, be happy, safe and brave!
xoxo
