Hey you!
I hope you are enjoying your long weekend if you have one! Personally, I always love some extra time to spend with family and friends. In todays post I am going to show you how I did these watermelon nails. The inspiration for these nails are by the incredible talented Autumn Nicole, you should go check out her Instagram page!
As always, start of by painting your nail with a base coat to protect your nails against staining and to make the polish last longer. Then go ahead and paint your pinkie and ring finger with a green shade of your choosing. The shade that I am using here is called ‘Turned up Turquoise’ by china glaze. Paint your thumb, index and middle finger with a ‘watermelon’ pink shade. I am using ‘get juiced’ by Sally Hansen and I feel like this is a good colour choice.
Next up, paint a half moon onto your ring finger with a white polish like ‘white on’ by Sally Hansen.
Once that is completely dry, make another half moon but this time with the pink shade. Make sure that you leave a small white line visible.
Don’t they look so good already? I am honestly impressed with how good they look so far, I always figured they are way harder to create. Now take a black polish like ‘black to black’ by Sally Hansen and a small brush to create the watermelon seeds.
To finish this design, go over all your nails with a top coat to make the design shinier and last longer.
Thank you for reading my watermelon nails post and don’t forget to subscribe so you never miss a post of mine! I hope you have a wonderful week filled with lots of sunshine and happiness.
