Hello you!
This matte floral nails design is inspired by the incredible talented Jema. And when I say inspired I mean it’s 100% copied, except that hers is way better than mine. Seeing how I’m relatively new in this nail design game I am very happy with how they turned out.
To begin you want to apply a base coat of your choosing. On your pinkie paint two coats of a peachy colour like ‘Floaties’ by Sally Hansen. For the index finger, take a mint shade like ‘Mint Sorbet’ by Sally Hansen. Now we get to the fun part, making pretty flowers on your ring and middle finger. Try to make five dots that just barely touch each other, this way you will have enough space in the middle of the flower.
Now, Jema did the middle of her flowers with gold beads. Unfortunately, I don’t own any beads that are small enough so I had to do them with some gold polish. I am using ‘Game of Chromes’ by Sally Hansen and a dotting tool for the middle part. It might not look as good as with actual beads but it’s the best I could do and I honestly completely love them!!
As always, apply a top coat to make the design last longer and to give it a nice reflection.
In the end I put a matte top coat over it because I was curious to see how it would look and OMG I’m loving it even more this way!! Seriously, I’m like, completely obsessed with these matte floral nails and I don’t ever wanna take them off!!
