Hello cuties 🙂
Today’s Manicure Monday is a Pink Chevron Gradient inspired by the incredible talented Galina (YaGala on Instagram). This will be my first blogpost in December! Can you guys believe it’s the first of December already? That’s just crazy…where has the time gone since I started this blog? It really seems unreal :))
Now I don’t know if you know, but I recently started my very own YouTube Channel. You can find it here. So now when I do a nail tutorial I have to film it and take pictures. That doesn’t sound like too much work, I know. But for some reason it’s way too much for my tiny brain 😉 I completely forgot to take pictures at the very beginning of the pink chevron gradient and I’m really sorry!! But as soon as I have the video up on my channel I will insert the link to it at the end of this blogpost. There you can see the whole tutorial!
Never the less, let’s get started:
I used the PRO-FX nail repair polish as a base coat. (Watch my review on it here) Then I used my slightest pink polish to make the chevron. For that, just start at the outside of your nail moving inward and upward until you are in the middle of your nail. Do the same on the other side.
Keep repeating with the other two shades of pink. Make sure you divide the space evenly so all the chevrons are the same.
Take a small brush and some silver polish and go over the connecting lines. By doing so you don’t just add greatness to your design, you are also able to hide some slight mistakes you may have done!
Then as always use a topcoat to make sure your design lasts for as long as possible!!
Products used:
Basecoat: PRO-FX Nail Repair Polish
Light Pink: Revlon – Sheer Pink
Middle Pink: Essie – Mod Square
Dark Pink: Orly – Passion Fruit
Topcoat: PRO-FX Quick Dry Polish
I hope you liked my pink chevron gradient mani!! Don’t forget to follow me on social media 🙂
xoxo
Cindy
