Hello cuties 🙂
I know I uploaded a nail post on Monday but since Halloween is this Friday I decided to make this post today so you would have enough time to recreate it if you’d like 🙂
This is the ultimate Halloween nails guide, wuhuu!! I just recently watched Sandi’s video on YouTube she made last year and decided to recreate it 🙂 If you don’t know her you should definitely go check out here channel. She is a very beautiful and talented girl that goes by the name “cutepolish”. To watch her video for the Halloween nails click here!
Now I did one design per nail but if you really love one design you can obviously do the one design on all nails 🙂 Warning: This is gonna be a really long blog post, sorry! But I wanted to get it as detailed as possible… Alright let’s get started!!
Skull Nail
Paint your nail white
With black polish and a dotting tool make two eyes, then take a brush and create an upside down hart for the nose and three lines at the bottom of your nail for the mouth
Add a topcoat to make your design last!
Pumpkin Nail
Paint your nail orange
With black polish and a dotting tool make two eyes, then take a brush and make a triangle for the nose and a half circle for the mouth
With the same orange polish as before and a dotting tool, make two dots into the mouth for the teeth and two dots into the eyes
Add a topcoat to make your design last!
Frankenstein Nail
Paint your nail a light green
With a black polish and a dotting tool make two eyes, then take a brush and make three triangle for the hair, two fine lines above the eyes for the brows and a diagonal line for the mouth. Then “close” the mouth by adding three lines over the mouth line
With a white polish and a dotting tool make two smaller dots into the eyes
Add a topcoat to make your design last!
Mummy Nail
Paint your nail white
With a black polish and a brush make three lines (see red marks in the picture). This created a triangle on the right side of the nail of which you now have to fill in the bottom half with black polish
With a white polish and a dotting tool make two eyes into the black and when the polish is dry take a red polish and a smaller dotting tool to make two small dots into the eyes
Add a topcoat to make your design last!
Witches Hat Nail
Paint your nail purple
With a black polish and a brush make a thick line in the middle of the nail
With a golden polish and a brush make the outline of a square in the middle of the black line. Try not to cover any of the black polish with the horizontal lines!
Add a topcoat to make your design last!
Ghost Nail
Paint your nail white
With a black polish and a dotting tool make two eyes. Then add two touching dots below the eyes for the mouth
With a white polish and a dotting tool make two small dots into the eyes
Add a topcoat to make your design last!
Bloody Nail
Paint your nail nude
With a bloody looking red polish and a dotting tool make a big dot on the right side of the nail and slightly drag it down to the tip of the nail. Make a smaller dot on the left side and do the same. Take some more polish and put it on the tip of your nail
Add a topcoat to make your design last!
Graveyard Nail
Paint your nail purple
With a make up sponge dap some light pink on the bottom half of the nail
With a black polish make a line at the tip of the nail for the ground of the grave. Then take your brush and start in the middle of the nail and swipe down into the ground to make the tombstone. With a small brush make a cross next to the tombstone
Add a topcoat to make your design last!
Candy Corn Nail
Paint your nail white
Take a make up sponge and put a line of yellow, orange and white polish right next to each other. Take the sponge and dap it onto the nail. Put on one or two coats depending on how you like it
Add a topcoat to make your design last!
Spider’s Web Nail
Paint your nail purple
With a black polish and a brush make three small curved lines that connect to each other. Then make the same thing a bit bigger in the middle of the nail. Connect the spider’s web with a straight line through where the curved lines connected
Add a topcoat to make your design last!
That’s it!! Puhh that was a lot of writing 🙂 I really hope this post can help some of you who don’t know what to wear on your nails for Halloween.
If you have any questions feel free to leave them in the comments and I will try to help 🙂
xoxo
Cindy
