Hey you!
Are you ready for my purple and silver negative space nails post? Before I start with that, I truly hope that you had a good start into the new week.
As always, start with applying a base coat onto all of your nails to keep them from staining. This step will also help to make the polish stay on your nails longer.
On your ring and middle finger, tape off half of your nails. The left side for the ring finger and the right side for the middle one. Then go over it with a purple polish. Remove the tape right after so the polish hasn’t had a chance to dry yet.
Paint your thumb, pinkie and index finger with two coats of a light purple polish of your choosing. This here is ‘play date’ by essie, a gorgeous light purple shade.
Go over all your nails with a top coat. I use the new ‘color therapy’ top coat from Sally Hansen. Keep your eyes open for a review on that really soon!
Take some silver gems that you have laying around somewhere. Apply a thin strip of the top coat along the polish line where you want to apply the gems. Put one after another onto the nail and press them down lightly! Don’t press too hard or the polish underneath will be ruined!
I personally don’t like to apply a top coat over the gems because I feel like they don’t shine that nice afterwards. If you don’t mind, go ahead and apply a second layer of top coat.
This is the end of my purple and silver negative space nails post, don’t forget to subscribe so you never miss a post of mine! I hope you have a wonderful week filled with lots of sunshine and happiness.
Until next time!
