Hi all,
In todays post I am going to show you how I created these pumpkin halloween nails. The are REALLY easy to do, so keep on reading if you’re interested.
First of all, I am not happy with the colour combo. So if I would recreate these, I would for sure use a different background colours. But it’s too late for that now so I’m just going to have to work with this 🙂
The base is two coats of OPI’s ‘Dulce de Leche’. A very gorgeous nude that looks absolutely stunning on it’s own. Again, I don’t love the colour combo so maybe don’t pick a similar shade.
Next up, take an orange polish like ‘Pumpkin Queen’ by Sally Hansen and create a heart shape at the tip of your nails. This, by no means, has to look perfect because pumpkins aren’t perfect. They are all different in size and colour, you could even use different shades of orange if you’d like.
Take either a darker or lighter orange, depending on the shade you used as a base and create lines. I used ‘Malibu Peach’ by Sally Hansen and a thin brush to create my lines but you can also use a tooth pick.
The stem of the pumpkins is ‘Turned up Turquoise’ by china glaze. With the same thin brush from before, create the stems. I am not 100% happy with how they turned out, but from far away, you can’t really tell that they don’t look good.
I hope you enjoyed my pumpkin halloween nails post! If you have design ideas that you would like me to create, please feel free to leave them in the comments below!
