Happy Monday!
It’s the first mani post for this october and with halloween coming up I though it would be okay to start posting halloween nails. The first Halloween related nails I’m going to show you are these Jack O’Lantern nails. I created these nails with some nail vinyls from What’s Up Nails but they don’t seem to sell them anymore!
The nail art itself is very easy! First off paint your thumb and ring finger black. I used ‘Black to Black’ from Sally Hansen.
The other nails are painted with ‘Pumpkin Queen’ also from Sally Hansen. Isn’t that a very fitting name? I love it! But you can use literally any orange polish you own.
Every time you use tape or vinyls you should always apply a top coat to all your nails first. This will help to make sure that when you peel off the tape or vinyls that the polish itself will stay untouched!
Then just take the vinyls and put them onto your orange painted nails. With the black polish you used before fill in the pumpkin and remove the vinyls right after.
Once you lift off the vinyls from the original paper they were on you will find a orange pumpkin. Take the mouth and eyes out of the shape and place them onto your black painted nails.
That is already the end of my very easy Jack O’Lantern nails tutorial. I hope you enjoyed them and leave me some more Halloween design ideas in the comments below!
Have a wonderful week everyone!
xoxo
