Hi all 🙂
I’m here today with a holo tuxedo nail art design post that is 100% inspired/copied from the amazingly talented Cristine aka SimplyNailogical. I’m sure you all have heard of her and are a huge fan, if not you are missing out for sure!
She posted a video called ‘5 Easy Nail Art Designs for Short Nails’ like a week ago. In that video she shows a holo tuxedo nail art design that I immediately fell in love with. I decided to recreate it as good as I was capable of.
I used ‘let’s dew it’ from china glaze as my base colour. Now I am aware that this polish is not holo but it is as close as I was able to get. This is two coats of this polish.
Next up I used tape to tape of certain parts of my nails. A triangle in the middle and both sides should be taped off.
The white I used is ‘white on’ by Sally Hansen. Before you cover up the white parts be sure to go over the whole nail with a top coat. When that has completely dried but a piece of tape on top of the white part. For this part I used the ‘cosmic flakies’ polish by Revlon.
Finish it all off with a top coat and that’s it. I find this one is a very easy design to do but it ends up looking so great!
What do you think of this holo tuxedo nail art design? As always, please leave your questions, requests and feedback in the comments below!
I hope you enjoyed this design and give it a go yourself. I believe in you!!
xoxo
