Hello lovely people!
I’m here today with a geometric nail art post that I 100% copied from Kathy, you should definitely go and check her out! When I saw the design on her Instagram account I immediately knew that I wanted to recreate it. Keep on reading if you want to know how I did them:
The base colour I used for this geometric nail art is ‘Japanese Rose Garden’ by OPI. It’s such a different kinda pink then the normal pink that is so very popular.
Next up I applied scotch tape on my nails and I made sure to copy this exactly from Kathy’s design because I really like how hers turned out.
The peach colour is ‘sun of a peach’ from china glaze and I am absolutely in love with this shade!
And we are back it again with the scotch tape! The most important thing I had to do here is to make sure that the tape slightly overlaps the peach shade just to make sure that no base colour is peeking through.
The purple shade is ‘Saturated’ from ORLY. I actually never used this shade before as it is a new purchase but boy to I love it!
After a good clean up around the cuticles and a top coat this is what the end result looks like:
I feel like after applying the matte top coat this design looks so much better!!
Thank you for reading my geometric nail art post and I hope you enjoyed it! Write to ya later 🙂
xoxo
