Seeing how it’s less than 30 days away from Christmas it’s acceptable for me to post my christmas tree nails with holo right? I love this season so much I can’t wait for Christmas to be here. This is a relatively easy design that looks very cute.
To begin, paint your nails with a base coat like the ‘Nail Repair’ one from PRO-FX. Then, use ‘Malage Wine’ by OPI and paint two coats. Because we are going to use stencils next, go over your nails with a top coat like the ‘Color Therapy’ one from Sally Hansen. This will make sure that when you remove the stencils the polish underneath will stay put.
Next up, take some pine tree stencils from WhatsUp Nails that you can find here and a green polish like ‘Wonderland Green Card’ by Catrice.
Place the stencils onto the middle of your nails and paint them in, be sure you remove the stencils immediately after applying. Otherwise the polish will start to dry and stick and make everything look very messy. Trust me, it has happened to me many times.
With a small brush and a holo polish of your choosing, make the lights that go around the tree. You could use a golden or silver polish instead if you’d like. But with me being a Holosexual, I obviously had to use ‘Nova’ by china glaze.
For on the top of the three you can use any kind of gem you have. Just apply a tiny bit of top or base coat and apply the gem and press down lightly.
And that’s already it! Apply a top coat like the ‘Color Therapy’ one from Sally Hansen. This will make sure that this design lasts for as long as possible.
Thank you so much for reading my christmas tree nails with holo post and don’t forget to subscribe so you never miss a post of mine! I hope you have a wonderful week filled with lots of sunshine and happiness.
