Here is my Chocolate Cupcake Recipe that I created by accident š
Cake Ingredients:
100 gram bittersweet chocolate
175 gram butter
225 gram sugar
4 eggs
100 gram flour
2 1/2 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
a pinch of salt
Preheat the oven to 180Ā°C / 350Ā°F or GAS 4
1) Melt the chocolate over hot water or in the microwave
Put the butter in the bowl and stir until everything is melted
As soon as you have a glossy texture pour in the sugar and let it cool for 10 minutes
2) Put the mixture into the kitchen machine and mix.
Then add one egg at a time and beat well after each addition
3) Put the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and a pinch of salt into a bowl and stir
4) Slowly add the dry ingredients into the kitchen machine and beat until everything is combined. The texture of the batter should be very light and fluffy
5) Divide the batter between 12 cupcake cases
6) Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes
Check with a skewer to make sure none of the batter sticks onto it.
Makes 12 normal sized cupcakes
Chocolate Buttercream Ingredients:
135 g butter
410 gram confectioners’ sugar
45 gram cocoa powder
6 tablespoons milk
You can make the buttercream while the cupcakes are in the oven or while they are cooling down. I usually start with it as soon as the cupcakes go in the oven so I have enough timeĀ
1) Put the butter in a kitchen machine and mix until the batter is fluffy
2) Add the confectioners’ sugar to the bowl and mix
3) Then add the cocoa powderĀ and the milk
4) Mix until the batter is a creamy consistency, if it is to dry add some more milk
5) After the cupcakes are completely cold add the buttercream with a piping bag

6) Add some sugar toppings to your liking
