Hey you!
I hope you had a great weekend and are ready to start the new week. I’m gonna show you how I did these blue dry brush nails in this post. I love the way they look and they are really easy to do, all you need is two polishes.
This first polish is ‘mint candy apple’ a very light baby blue shade from essie. This here is two coats and it’s perfectly opaque.
Next up, take a darker blue colour like ‘butler please’ by essie and remove almost all polish from the brush. Make fine horizontal and vertical lines all across your nails. Make sure that the lines are very fine to start with, you can always add more. Taking polish of the nails is harder than adding more lines.
And that’s already it! See, I told you it’s an easy design didn’t I? But honestly, just because a design is simple doesn’t mean it can’t look incredible. I personal LOVE the effect these nails give, they look way harder to do than they actually are.
You can go over the nails with a top coat if you’d like to make them last longer. I decided not to because the dry brush technique gives your nails a special kinda feeling that I didn’t wanna ruin with a top coat.
Thank you for reading my blue dry brush nails post and don’t forget to subscribe so you never miss a post of mine! I hope you have a wonderful week filled with lots of sunshine and happiness.
